Mini Shopping Spree | Nars, NYX, Dune London

Hey ladies!

I went on a little shopping trip yesterday and picked up a few things whilst I was out. I managed to grab a few more NYX products and also picked up some lipgloss from NARS (never tried any of their glosses before but it swatches beautifully so I'm definitely looking forward to trying it out!).

Everything has been swatched in order to the list below:

What I bought (left to right):
NYX Liquid Crystal Liner - Crystal Aqua
NYX Liquid Crystal Liner - Crystal Pewter
NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick - Soft-Spoken
NARS Lip Gloss - Belize
NYX Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipstick - Embellishment
NYX Stacked Lush Lashes Mascara
NYX Slide On Eye Pencil - Tropical Green
NYX Makeup Brush Cleaner
Dune London Charlize - Black Two Part Ghillie Lace Court Shoes (got these on sale at £32.00, bargain!)

I'm quite excited about the glitter eyeliners as they're such pretty colours and let's be honest, who doesn't love a bit of sparkle?! The Lingerie Liquid Lipstick is also beautiful and I don't think I own any shades like it - will definitely be fun trying it out in a look!

On a little side note, do any of you have any recommendations on NYX's lipstick range? I've owned Tea Rose for a few years but couldn't seem to find anything suited to warmer skintones aside from the usual deep reds and purples.

NYX Goodies | Boots UK

Aloha!

If you’re from the UK and you’re not already aware, Boots are now officially stocking NYX Cosmetics. You can buy them online here or at your local store (please be mindful that not all stores have opened up their stands just yet, mine certainly hasn’t, I managed to grab these on a trip to Leicester last weekend).

I only bought a few things as the stands were so busy and I'm easily stressed out! Hoping to pick up on a few face and lip products when I next visit. I've yet to use any of the items, although I was pleased with how they swatched!

What I bought:
Empty 9 Shadow Pro Palette (obviously to fill myself!)
Hot Singles Eye Shadow: HSS84 Own the Night
Hot Singles Eye Shadow: HSS70 Heat
Hot Singles Eye Shadow: HSS69 Addiction
Hot Singles Eye Shadow: HSS22 Chandelier
Hot Singles Eye Shadow: HSS72 Maneater

York | The Shambles.

York is located in North Yorkshire (England) and is a traditional little town with beautiful historic attractions and amazing medieval architecture. It's an extremely popular tourist attraction and it's really not difficult to see why! I love all things old fashioned and traditional to England so as you can imagine I was ecstatic about the visit - especially with it being around Christmas time! The festive decorations really added to the traditional atmosphere.

"The Shambles" is the name of an extremely quaint, medieval little lane full of amazingly detailed old buildings with quirky little shops and tea rooms. It reminds me so much of Diagon Alley (from Harry Potter) and has such an amazing, magical feel to it. It was definitely the highlight of our visit as we'd missed it on a trip earlier this year.

I'm pretty impressed with the photographs to say they were taken on a mobile phone! We had a lovely day wandering the old streets of York and have both fallen in love with The Shambles. I can definitely see us re-visiting numerous times in the future and can't wait to go again sometime soon!
